Job Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Support general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll 

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes 

• Support client paid media accounting and reconciliations

Cash Management & Operations Support

• Monitor cash balances and support cash flow tracking 

• Assist with bank reconciliations and internal controls 

• Help ensure timely payments and collections

People Operations & HR Support

• Support employee onboarding & offboarding processes, including coordinating paperwork, system access and final payroll items 

• Order and track employee equipment and help manage inventory 

• Assist with benefits administration tasks, such as enrollments, terminations and open enrollment support 

• Help ensure compliance with basic HR-related policies and procedures

Qualifications

• At least 1-3 years of experience in an operations, finance or project management role

• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers 

• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Google Sheets 

• Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for guidance

• Interest in mission-driven or values based work

This position will be fully remote. Due to the nature of political work, there will be expected evening and weekend hours especially leading up to November 2026. This is a cycle position that will end on November 30, 2026, with the possibility of full time based on performance and need. The salary range for the position is between $65,000 and $75,000, commensurate with experience.
