Ad Ops Specialist

Gambit Strategies is looking for a motivated ad ops specialist to join our team!

Who you are

You know how critical it is to set up campaigns properly–and how it can make or break the success of a program. You have extremely strong attention to detail. You can work in a fast-paced environment with lots of tight deadlines, and you can work collaboratively to ensure we not only launch campaigns on time, but we get all the details right. You have experience working in a team environment and collaborating with others within your specific team, and across media and creative teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up ad campaigns in platforms such as Facebook, Google Campaign Manager, and Programmatic platform.

  • Once campaigns launch, monitor how they are performing and provide recommendations on optimizations.

  • Oversee the reporting process and ensure all data is being properly aggregated. Provide insights for campaign improvement + campaign performance.

  • Work across the team with the ad operations manager and media planning and buying operations to ensure that we can meet client deadlines

  • Troubleshoot any issues with ad launch, pixel tracking, etc.

  • Meet with new technology partners and provide recommendations for solutions and new features that can improve the performance of our campaigns

  • Provide tags to direct partners and ensure they have properly implemented them

  • Communicate specs to the creative team and work to resolve issues when they arise

Qualifications

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in an ad operations role, with familiarity with setting up ad campaigns in all the major platforms

  • An understanding of how to best set up ad campaigns to be able to track all metrics across creative and site/platform

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow a strict QA process to avoid errors

  • The ability to learn quickly and pick up new skill sets when tech solutions present themselves, or when the platforms are modified

  • Thrives in a team environment and works well collaborating with others

  • Excels in a fast-paced environment and can handle multi-tasking several projects with tight timelines at once

This position will be fully remote. Due to the nature of political work, there will be expected evening and weekend hours especially leading up to November 2024. This is a cycle position that will end on November 30, 2024, with the possibility of full time based on performance and need. The salary range for the position is between $65,000 and $75,000, commensurate with experience.
